Digital Collection- The content of digitized material spans over
several subject areas.
- Science
Man- This site was created by Josef Martha, a high school Science
teacher in Onoway. It contains links to science and technology integration
resources.
- Sam's
Page, Science: K-12 Resources- Contains links to science sites that
are grouped by grade (2-12) and topics according to the AB program of
studies.
- The
Exploratorium- The Exploratorium is a collage of 650 science, art,
and human perception exhibits.
- Science
Brainium- Science Brainium features science games, lessons, experiments,
animation adventures, links to appropriate Web sites, current science
news stories, lesson plans, worksheets and assessments. A 30-day trial
is free, but after that you will need to purchase a membership.
- The
Why Files- Their theme is "Science behind the news" and
the site offers teachers with excellent current events to use in the
classroom while providing students (and the public) with valuable information
about science.
- Annenberg/CPB-
This site contains resources for teachers including professional development,
interactive online exhibits, laboratory activities and telecollaborative
projects.
- TERC-
Using the topics list on their homepage, you can find links to projects,
products, and publications including curriculum, earth and space science,
equity, mathematics education, online learning, school reform, and much
more.
- Center
of Excellence for Science and Mathematics Education (CESME)- CESME
provides teachers with information about professional development, curricular
and instructional resources and integrating technology into curriculum
and instruction. Includes a section on graphing
calculators and CBL technology.
- Texas
Instrument: Education Technology and Calculators- This site contains
information about TI products and how to use them in the classroom as
well as information about current research involving calculators and
links to activities and other resources.

- The
eSkeletons Project- This site allows users to view the human skeleton
in detail and learn about the bones, muscles, and joints that make up
the skeleton. Bones of humans, baboons, and chimpanzees can also be
compared.
- Cells
Alive- If you are looking for images, videos, or animations of cells
go here!
- The
Cell- This ThinkQuest project contains information about cells,
organelles, and there functions and some basic information about DNA.
The site includes images, animations, videos, lessons and quizzes.
- What
is Photosynthesis?- This site offers educators with a resource for
teaching photosynthesis and related process at all grade levels. Includes
links to information, pictures and activities.

Excellent site for information about aeronautics and space research.
- Windows
to the Universe- This site, funded by NASA, contains a variety of
information about earth and space science and includes many images,
animations, videos, data sets and links.
- Dive
and Discover: Expeditions to the Sea Floor- Dive and Discover is
an interactive distance learning Web site designed to immerse users
in the excitement of discovery and exploration of the deep seafloor.
- The
Environmental Education Network (EEN)- The EEN acts as a clearinghouse
for all environmental education information, materials and ideas on
the Internet.
- Oceanography-
This site contains information about the ocean, the habitats and habitants
of the ocean, current research and quizzes and activities.
