Navigation - BasicsNavigation through EDEL 490 & EDEL 595 should be very efficient. READ the following sections: Basics (this page), Modules drop down menu, Information drop down menu, and advisor to get a good understanding on how to your WWW browser to move through this site. Navigation with Netscape or a similar WWW browser is generally very simple. Using your mouse, "click" on the underlined or highlighted text or images and you will move from the page you are on, to the page that is attached to or linked to the underlined word or image. When you click on one of these links you are actually activating a hypertext link, or asking Netscape to take you to the desired page. These hypertext links facilitate most of the navigation on the WWW. Most browsers will have "Back" and "Forward" buttons that will take you back to the previous page you visited, or forward to another page. The "Home" button will take you back to the page that your browser has set as its starting point or home. |
On the PC (Windows 95 & 98) holding down the right mouse button will also bring up "Back" and "Forward" as well as many other useful functions. |
