    1. Introduction: The Purpose and Organization of this Book, 

    2. Learning: The Curriculum and the Child, 

    3. Teaching and Learning as Interactive Processes, 

    4. The Classroom: An Environment for Learning

  4. Read: Chard, S.C. (1998) The Project Approach: Managing Successful Projects. Scholastic. Chapter 1. Introductory chapter: Getting the most from this book.

  5. Read the Resource Site under Section: Project Development; Features Chart. Print out for frequent reference hereafter. 
  6. Reflect on your own teaching in relation to implementing the Project Approach.

  7. Communicate with other course participants on the WebBoard.
