Concept: Natural and artificial selection of genetic characteristics

This activity could serve as an introduction to adaptation and natural selection.

Description:

• Divide the class into 2 group
• 1^st group contain about 5 predators
• 2^nd group will be preys. The preys will have some desired characteristics which will be beneficial for survival and other preys will not. (E.g. Coat color, body type, food preferences, etc…)

This activity can be altered easily by changing the type of predator and prey relationship and the environment.
