Check to see if you have QuickTime 3

To check if you have QuickTime, follow these steps:

1) Open your Control Panel(s) folder and look for a QuickTime icon.

If the icon is not there, or if you see only a QuickTime 32 or QuickTime 16 icon in the Control Panel window, you have a version of QuickTime earlier than 3. You need to get QuickTime 3.

2) If there is the required icon, double-lick it to open the QuickTime Settings Control Panel.

3) Set the pop-up menu at the top to read About QuickTime, if it is listed. The text below the pop-up menu tells you what version of QuickTime you have. If the version number is 3.0 or greater, you have QuickTime 3, but you may still need to upgrade to the Pro version.
